I decided to create this section to give some help to businesses/dippers trying to make this a part time/full time gig. You should be aware that this is not professional advice although the advice may be given in a professional manner. Any legal advice should be taken as a suggestion however you should speak to a lawyer for that.

What kind of questions should be allowed in this section:

*I messed up, a customer's car is peeling, how should I deal with the customer?

*How do you guys feel about a promotion?

*Should I create a waiver?

Questions that should NOT be asked in this section:

*How many coats should I use for a full car?

*How long should I wait between coats?

^ These questions should be kept in the Dipping Questions section.

Thank you to all, and I hope you guys find this section useful!

I got a dream worth more than my sleep.

Well I've advertised on Craigslist in almost every category. Also I go to every car show I can and have a speed shape display as well as pamphlets with info and pricing as well as business cards with pricing. That has helped tremendously. I have been able to work only mornings in my job and spend the entire afternoon either dipping or going to different garages trying to educate people. This week ill be going to car parts stores and trying to leave business cards as well as pamphlets on their counters.

Right now it's a car a day. Not full dips but always something. Trim, rims, grille, roofs, and right now I have a preorder of 10 gallons of pearlizer with over 40 people that want cf hood roofs pieces etc.

If you've seen the carbon fiber video the pearlizer replaces the gunmetal and metallizer. And looks alot better with less work.

I use pearls from a bunch of different places. Tbktrading.com
Paintwithpearl.com are two that would have good selection of interference (ghost) pearls. Check out my instagram @dipwerks i post alot of my pictures there because of how easy it is.

Our demo car has been a huge billboard on wheels to generate interest. So one thing I am doing is offering dip jobs to people I know of course, that love in areas that I don't but have plenty of potential dip clients. They are only paying for materials plus, and I get to choose the colors and put my WeDipWhips.com logo on the car. It gets me into new markets, a chance to play with new colors and designs and build my paint inventory. So far it has been a win win.
