Hello all,

I'm new to the world of plasti dip, mainly as a hobby atm.

First attempts on some scrap in the back garden using Earlex ms2901

Made plenty of mistakes, few runs, hose catching the car, running out of time and peeling lights before it was dry, using dip protect early too, poor masking the list goes on.

Used 3 gallons of self thinned plasti dip, have 1 gallon still left but thought 3 should be enough since the roof is glass and i did not do it.

Moving on I am planing on doing Red Wine Candy Pearl in matte but can not find any info on how the surface should be prepared, I would be really grateful if I could get some pointers please?

I have tried pre-dip on the scrap piece and it did not go well so completely lost.
