Can I simply buy a hvlp spray gun and hook it up to a small portable compressor ?
Also
When it comes to the chameleon not only how hard is to yo lay Down vs what do I mix the pigment in
The base coat or the clear

You can use your standard hvlp gun, just be sure to use the correct tip size (1.8 is recommended).

 

You should mix the chameleon in the clear coat. 

 

I usually go black or white base, pearls, then True Gloss by Halo EFX for the last layers.

I did a chameleon dip in my engine cover. I masked and taped it, then laid down 5 coats of matte black pd. Then on top 4 more coats of chameleon. Worked great. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk
